I.U.P.A Convention

The International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO announced that it recently honored Bridget Martin, Trent Chastain and Tyrone Hebert with the International Union of Police Associations’ Distinguished Associate Award. Ms. Martin is Senior Vice President of Labor Market Development, Mr. Chastain is a Business Development Officer for the Southeast, and Mr. Hebert is Vice President, Senior Client Manager Commercial Loans.

The I.U.P.A. Distinguished Associate Award was established by the International Union of Police Associations. The honor has rarely been bestowed and is bequeathed only to those which have distinguished themselves as a true friend of law enforcement and of the Internationals.

President Sam Cabral presented Bridget Martin, on behalf of the Bank of Labor, with the award at the I.U.P.A.’s 22nd National Convention. Bank of Labor assisted with employment grant funds for I.U.P.A. staff during the heart of COVID and helped secure financing that made it possible for the organization to purchase a national headquarters facility.

Convention delegates unanimously passed a Bank of Labor resolution stating, “the International Union of Police Associations acknowledges and appreciates the support and guidance of Bank of Labor. We will always recommend them to other labor organizations needing guidance and assistance in banking matters and will continue our relationship far into the future.”
