Announcing New Board
Bank of Labor Welcomes Our New Board Members – Timothy Simmons and Clint Penny
We are excited to announce the appointment of two distinguished Labor leaders to Bank of Labor’s Board of Directors. Timothy Simmons, International President of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Clint Penny, International Secretary-Treasurer, joined the boards of Bank of Labor and Bank of Labor Bancshares following their appointment by Chairman and CEO Bill Miller and the unanimous approval by the board.
Tim began his career with the Boilermakers in 1999, working at Local 108 in Birmingham, Alabama and eventually became their Business Agent/Secretary Treasurer. He was recently selected by the Executive Council to serve as their International President, filling the role created upon the retirement of veteran IBB executive Warren Fairley. Clint Penny was simultaneously selected to serve as International Secretary-Treasurer of the Boilermakers. Clint is known to Local 11 members in Montana as a fourth-generation Boilermaker.
Tim and Clint bring decades of leadership and dedication to advancing Labor values. We are proud to have these committed leaders on our board as we continue to support the Labor movement though our commitment to our mission of aligning ourselves with working families across the United States.
