Bridget Martin

Bridget joined Bank of Labor in 2015 after a 20-plus year career in political affairs and lobbying.
Her extensive background in organized labor on the state and national levels enhance her ability to provide strategic solutions in labor relations and business development.
Bridget began her career in 1995 with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. As Special Assistant to the International President and Director of Government Affairs, she became the first high-ranking woman in the Union’s history.
Appointed by the Democratic National Committee in 2000, she served as the Labor Liaison to manage relations with Unions, the DNC, and the White House.
In 2007, Bridget was appointed by former Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao to serve on Special Industry Committee No. 26 in American Samoa to negotiate and recommend minimum wage rates across industries.
Bridget holds a master’s degree in government and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics.
